Start with a current buyout quote
Use a lessor quote valid for the intended purchase date. An early buyout may differ from the end-of-term residual. Confirm taxes and fees separately: this tool does not infer them from your state or country or automatically add all remaining lease payments.
buyout total = quoted purchase price + confirmed taxes + purchase fees
Buyout example
A $18,000 buyout, $1,500 tax amount and $300 fees total $19,800 before interest. Against a supplied value of $21,000, the difference is $1,200. A $3,000 down payment leaves $16,800 to finance; the entered rate and term determine the monthly payment.
What the result does not appraise
The value difference is arithmetic using your supplied estimate, not an independent appraisal or guaranteed resale profit. Consider condition, repairs, warranty, return terms and whether the agreement offers a purchase option. Mileage and wear charges can depend on how the contract ends; do not assume they are automatically waived.
